Our single flute end mills are designed to cut larger chips over cutters with more flutes, allowing for better chip and heat evacuation which is critical for materials that are prone to melting. These end mills have been used and tested on 6061 aluminum up to 3/4″ thick and common plastics such as Delrin, PVC, Acrylic, Polycarbonate, and HDPE.
