Our touch plate is designed for simple touching off in 3 directions without guessing or eyeballing distances. Simply insert the plug into the plate, hit a button, and let the machine touch the plate and find it’s position. This is handy for:

• precisely setting the initial position of a piece of material you have in your work area
• performing tool-changing operations
• performing surface probe compensation on larger stock

The touch plate is made with a high-quality piece of aluminum plate and the long wires makes attaching the magnet and connector a simple process.

This item contains all the parts for one operational touch plate setup. This includes the touch plate, wires, and magnet. The 2-pin connector comes preinstalled on the LongBoard controller and can be easily attached to the wiring harness with a small, flat head screwdriver.
