1/4″ Extra Long Flat Roughing End Mill

This 1/4″ Flat Roughing End Mill is specially designed for fast material removal for milling electric guitar bodies and raw lumber. This end mill offers 1.75″ cutting flute length,  3.5″ overall length, and 3 serrated flutes, allowing for cutting through standard-size guitar blanks, as well as thicker wood in general.

Roughing end mills have the following features:

• A greater number of flutes to improve stiffness and to reduce the chip load per flute, for minimized chatter and vibration.
• Serrated edges to break chips as they are cut, to help with material ejection.
