The air assist shield  provides air flow across your LaserBeam path and your material which can clear debris and allow for more efficient cuts and a cleaner lens. The design incorporates OD 3+ equivalent acrylic to shield you against a large amount of the lasers light and provides added eye protection against the LaserBeam’s wavelengths between 440nm – 470nm. The shield does not replace the need to always wear laser safety glasses when the laser in use but adds to the overall eye protection of the system.
