The 1.6mm Corncob End Mill uses a unique cutter design made for composite materials such as fiberglass, PCBs, and carbon fiber, but also works well for wood as well.
Corncob End Mills perform well on materials that are not prone to melting and are more forgiving than smaller fluted end mills. Please note that these bits have a cutting diameter of 1.6mm, but can generally be used as a 1/16″ bit (1/16″ is equal to 1.5875mm)

An 1/8″ Precision Collet or a 1/4″ to 1/8″ collet adapter is recommended if your router isn’t equipped to work with 1/8″ cutting tools.
