I couldn’t be happier with my Altmill CNC! From the moment it arrived, I could tell this company takes pride in their product. The packaging was outstanding—everything was securely protected and well organized, which made setup a breeze. The build quality is excellent, solid, and precise, and the machine performs beautifully right out of the box. Every detail shows careful thought and craftsmanship. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, well-made CNC.

Well built, love it so far.

The machine is a 5. I am not sure about SLB. I have had trouble with it. I am trying to work it out by email now.

Hard to beat for the price. Cuts smooth, cuts fast. It could easily handle a higher HP spindle 2hp-5hp?. Tram your spindle and run squaring calibration. Packaging was excellent, assembly was simple. The collet wrenches they include are crap. Plan on getting a real set. All in all, I’m pleased.

I love my AltMill, It was a long wait but well worth it!

Very robust machine and fast. Get some cheap bits to learn feeds and speeds. You will break a few but man can this thing move.
I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation.

Still dialing it in. I love the ridgity vs. my old X-carve 1000. Workflow is pretty similar, getting used to gSender and thrilled that it will support the rapidchange atc that I’m expecting to arrive this week. Ask me again in 60 days after adding that accessory.

Packaging was good. Mine arrived with 2 damaged supports but did not affect the integrity of the machine overall. It’s in a spot that cannot be seen. Ordered in February 2025 and received in June 2025.
Video tutorials a must. Very well done. Had to watch a few times to completely get the machine setup and running smoothly. The forums are great. I watch every YT vid Sienci and Chris puts out. Quality content.
Machine is solid and seems to be made of quality materials. Will see if it stands the test of time and use.
Dust boot design terrible. Would look elsewhere for a quality dust boot. Mine disintegrated while surfacing the spoil board. Poor quality plastic . The replacement came quick and broke in same place at the attachment tab.
Overall, happy with the Altmill decision. Quality machine | Great Reps | Support has been great. Would recommend

I upgraded from a 30 x 30 longmill that I bought second hand. The new Altmill has exceeded all of my expectations for speed and quality.
I appreciate the careful tolerances and precision machining that went into the individual parts- assembly was straightforward and the completed unit was square and true in all axis’
When I placed my order I was concerned that tariffs would get in the way but this turned out to be a non issue. The machine is such a great value that I would have still bought it even with a tariff.
Your company really is exceptional in terms of customer service, continuous improvement and product engineering.
Thanks for helping me take CNC off of my wish list and putting it in my shop!

I’m not new in CNC machines working, from first time I set up I will have no problem to run this machine with any project, I very happy to my choice which machine I ordered.

Absolutely love the CNC. Every portion of the design is much more professional than my prior CNC. The assembly instructions were excellent and I greatly appreciated the support provided by Sienci Labs prior to my purchase. I reworked my machine to a 3′ x 4′ machine and it’s excellent.

Great machine which has been well designed and built. The one issue I had was with one of my Z motors. The box had been opened before I received it and the motor did not work. After trouble shooting the issue Scienci Labs were great about sending me a replacement motor.

Love it!

Need more info on spoilboard – 1 or 2 layers pro/con
Tramming – eccentric nuts not mentioned. I had no idea what they were until I watched the IDC Woodcraft Youtube videos.
More detail on sensor setup. Preliminary placement during assembly and verification of the gap just prior to motion testing.
Change ‘power on’ sequence to a single switch. The Estop use seems to be excessive

I have owned this CNC for a little over a month now and I have to say the experience has been fantastic! I don’t think there is another CNC in this price range that can come close to matching it. Very easy to assemble and everything worked perfectly.

Great heavy duty hobby machine. Fast . Still learning design software to use this machine to it’s full capability.
