80mm Clear Cut Dust Shoe

Designed to keep your cutting mess contained and shop air clean, this 80mm Clear Cut Dust Shoe is designed for both our 1.5KW and 2.2KW ER20 spindles. Made from tough polycarbonate, this clear dust shoe let’s you easily see your project cuts and allows for easy height adjustments and hose connections. It snaps into place with magnets for quick tool changes and ample clearance with an Automatic Tool Changer.
This dust shoe was designed specifically for our spindles but may work with other 80mm diameter spindles. This dust shoe connects to most 4″ dust collection hoses.
Each item contains one (1) dust shoe and two (2) 4″ hose clamps.
First batch will start shipping out the first week of March.

I just recently purchased a spindle kit with the black, 3D printed dust shoe. Can I trade it for a clear one?
Unfortunately no. No refunds or trading is available. You will need to purchase a Clear Cut Dust Shoe separately.
Will this fit other 80mm spindles?
We designed it specifically for our spindles, but it should fit any other branded 80mm spindle body. It is not fully guaranteed however.
What hose connection can it accommodate?
4” hose connections.
Will you sell replacement bristles?
Yes! Later this spring you will be able to purchase a ‘bottom-half only’ piece (the bristle half.) Watch for details in the near future.

The new design for the dust shoe is far superior to the old one. It makes changing bits much easier. It is not perfectly transparent but good enough for my needs. I am very happy that I purchased this. I highly recommend it. It is worth upgrading to this even if your old dust shoe is perfectly fine (like mine was).

This Clear Cut Dust Shoe is the best I have ever had in the last 4 years of running CNC Router Machines. I am using it in conjunction with a “ZeeSlide MK2 for Altmill”, made for the Clear Cut Dust Shoe. It allows me to hold the brush on the Work Surface, independent of the Spindle movement and with the Magnetic Brush Section mounting, easily remove the Brush Section for clear access to the Spindle Nut.

The charcoal gray plastic is a nice color but in reality it is not clear and can not see what is going on. I really like the way it separate and provides easy access to the spindle for bit changes. Based on the old vs new version the dust collection area for the new one is larger which causes some issues with dust collection and loss of removal power. Overall it is a lot better but still needs improvements. Be sure that the two halves fit together completely and tight mine did not due to the magnets not being fully seated once I got them seated everything fit and sealed properly. Wish it had a grounding wire to eliminate static electrical build up

Very good replacement for the standard dust boot, really nice for changing bits, pop it off and back on again, and take the whole thing off in a second with the toggle lever, nice!. My only peav is that the plastic construction is not clear, it is translucent and difficult to see through even with a ring light on the spindle. So my rating is reduced for that reason.
