LongMill MK2 Magnetic Dust Shoe

The LongMill MK2 Magnetic Dust Shoe is designed to keep your cutting mess contained and shop air clean. With Z-axis independence, you can set and forget your shoe height knowing it’ll maintain a good ‘seal’ with your material.

It has magnetic mounting and a built-in trigger for easy height adjustments and detachment for quick tool changes and probing stock material. An acrylic window provides a clear view of the cutting action, and its tapered hose port fits multiple standard hose sizes for easy hookup to your dust collection system.

Dimensions of the tapered hose port are 51 – 54.5mm on the outside and 44.5mm on the inside. This is sized to fit standard 2″ to 2-1/8″ hoses on the outside or a 1.5″ hose on the inside.

Considerations: the opening in the shoe is made to accept the collet nut of the AutoSpin T1 router, and other similar router designs like the popular Makita RT0701C router, Carbide 3D Compact router and Avid Power MW104. Other routers and spindles should work but may have less depth pass-through depending on their geometry. The placement and geometry of the shoe is also best suited for the 65mm router mount. Expect possible geometry collision if using the 71mm mount with an associated router and consider another dust shoe option if using the 80mm mount.
