Spruce up your existing desktop CNC or spare work bench with these sturdy, powder coated metal table legs. Each Table Leg Kit comes with four (4) legs and four (4) leveling feet, allowing for an ideal desktop set up starting around 33.5″ high.
As these leg are normally intended for AltMills, the customization for desktop CNCs is entirely up to you, based on the configuration of fasteners and materials you use. See the schematics for pre-drilled hole locations before purchasing. There is also room for you to customize and add your own wheels.
Note: These legs come standard with every AltMill – no need to repurchase – but they contain pre-drilled holes. There is also AltMill logo branding on the side of each leg.
Each order comes with four (4) legs and four (4) leveling feet. Order does not include hardware likes screws or other fasteners.
Is there support for how to mount these to my machine?
At this time no. These legs are the default legs used for all of our AltMill machines. To get a better understanding of how we use and install them on an AltMill, check out our resources. You can adapt the pre-drilled holes to a unique set up – we actually use spare legs ourselves, and use the pre-drilled holes for table set ups (carts made with 2x4s for example, plus, we use them with other metal table frames.) You can also easily drill holes into the metal to accommodate your unique set up. Plus, there’s room to drill holes for attaching wheels of your choosing.
Are any screws or bolts provided?
No. As these legs are originally for AltMills, the customization for desktop CNCs is entirely up to you, and which fasteners you choose.
Are there any legs without AltMill branding on them?
At this time no. These legs have AltMill branding on one side of each leg. It is a future consideration however.
How do I adjust the feet? Remove the top hex nut from the leveling foot. Insert the threaded stud of the foot through the hole on the leg from the bottom, then reinstall the top hex nut over the hole, loosely securing the foot. You will need to adjust these two leveling nuts in a future step when leveling the table. Repeat for the remaining feet.
Adjust the hex nuts on the leveling feet of each leg to ensure the table is level. Check the level along the X-axis at front and back of your set up machine, and check the Y-axis level on both the left and right side of your set up.
You will need your own 17mm or adjustable wrench to adjust the levelling feet.
