No, just digital, online-only “e-Gift Cards.”
What denominations can I choose for e-Gift Cards?
You can choose any amount. Buy for friends, family or a business.
How does a recipient redeem an e-Gift Card?
The Sienci Labs e-Gift Card is a stored-value digital card redeemable for purchase. There are two ways to redeem an e-Gift Card:
- The recipient simply clicks the e-Gift Card link within the email they receive, and the credit is automatically applied to their purchase. It will appear as applied on the Cart AND Checkout pages.
- Each e-Gift Card has a unique store credit code. It can be manually entered as well, if a recipient forgets to click on the link in the email they get, or, removes the credit from the cart by accident. In theory, the recipient can also receive a printed paper copy of the gift card (say, in an envelope as a gift), but, they still must enter the number online to use the card. To add it to a purchase, it must be entered in the “Apply Code” box during the View Cart or Checkout process. Screenshots/Images of e-Gift Cards will not be accepted for redemption.
Is there an option to set a delivery date and time for when it gets sent?
Yup! At Checkout, you’ll have the option to select send ‘Now’ or send ‘Later’, plus, you can edit recipient email addresses once again if necessary. If you select send ‘Later’, each e-Gift Card will be sent with the same time and date.
What value is redeemed?
The full e-Gift Card value is applied AFTER applicable taxes and shipping. You cannot redeem less than the value of the card, nor can you customize the value of the redemption. For example if the value fo the e-Gift Card is $100USD and your order is $120USD, you must pay the remaining balance, $20USD, plus taxes and shipping. If your order value is smaller than the value of your card, then that balance remains on your card until the next time it’s used.
How do I check my balance if I have money left over?
Just type your e-Gift Card code into the “Apply Code” box in the Cart or Checkout, and your remaining balance will appear.
Do digital e-Gift Cards ever expire?
e-Gift Cards do not have expiry dates. They are just like cash.
What currency can I purchase with an e-Gift Card, and what currency will the recipient receive?
E-Gift cards can be purchased in USD or CAD. The currency in which they are purchased is also the currency value of the card itself. For example, if you purchase a gift card at $50 USD, the $50USD will be applied to orders shown in USD. If you switch currencies at any point, the value of the e-Gift Card will change to the current day’s exchange rate, and the exchanged value will appear as the credit value.
Can e-Gift Cards be reloaded with additional amounts?
No, they cannot be reloaded, but you can always buy more cards!
Are there any personalization options for the e-Gift Cards?
Yes! You can add a personalized message to your e-Gift Card at time of purchase, and or in the Checkout process.
Does Sienci Labs charge a service fee for unused balances on a digital gift card?
No! There are no hidden fees with unused balances on the e-Gift Card.
When will an e-Gift Card be activated?
E-Gift cards are automatically activated when emailed to the recipient.
Where are e-Gift Cards redeemable?
Gift cards are only redeemable at Sienci.com. They cannot be used for in-person purchases.
What happens if my e-Gift Card pin number is lost, stolen or damaged?
Since gift cards are like cash, we cannot issue replacements for lost or stolen cards.
Can I order multiple e-Gift Cards at one time?
Yes. If ordering multiple cards of the same value, you can customize each message and each recipient’s email address. However, if ordering multiple cards of different values, you must purchase them separately. Each e-Gift Card requires a recipient’s email address.
As the purchaser, what will I receive?
When purchasing an e-Gift Card you will receive an email confirmation of your purchase, and your recipient(s) will receive the e-Gift Card, via a redemption email.
What happens if I make an error with an email address or the recipient has not received the E-Gift Card sent?

Can I return products purchased with an e-Gift Card?

Can I purchase gift cards if I reside outside of Canada?
Yes. We accept e-Gift Card purchases from anywhere but note, the only purchasable currencies are USD and CAD.
Can I redeem an e-Gift Card in person if I happen to swing by Sienci Labs’ warehouse to pick something up?
Unfortunately no, e-Gift cards must be redeemed online only. They cannot be processed onsite.
What can I buy with an e-Gift Card
You can purchase any item, and an e-Gift Card is not restricted by items on sale and or in conjunction with other offers.
